Revamping the Satamo and Ruha Guest Harbors

Satamosaari and the Ruuhonsaari Islands (Ruha) are among the most popular guest harbors in southern Saimaa. Both islands offer piers and recreational facilities on either side of their lagoon-like bays, including saunas. The renovation of piers, access and walkways, saunas and other structures will improve the safety, usability and attractiveness of the guest harbors. Funding for the project is being sought from the Centre for Economic Development of Southeast Finland.
