Recreation sites

The South Karelia Recreation Area Foundation implements recreational opportunities for the residents of the region. The purpose of the Recreation Area Foundation is to secure the use of areas suitable for recreation, tourism and leisure use in South Karelia. To achieve its purpose, the foundation acquires land and water areas and organizes services suitable for recreation and leisure use.
The foundation owns and maintains contracted recreation areas and excursion destinations around the region. There are destinations in all municipalities of South Karelia.
