South Karelia Recreation Area Foundation
South Karelian Foundation for Recreation Areas is a regional organization that develops nature recreation and hiking in South Karelia. In the Saimaa region, the foundation maintains guest harbors and recreation areas. The outdoor destinations and recreation areas are intended for all residents of the region, visitors are also welcome to enjoy South Karelia’s diverse nature and beautiful scenery.
The foundation owns and maintains recreation areas and outdoor destinations around the region under agreements. There are destinations in every municipality of South Karelia.
